Course Objectives: 

Introduction to Haematology and Biochemistry: Overview of the principles, significance, and applications of haematology and biochemistry in clinical diagnostics and research. 

Full Blood Count (FBC) Analysis: Detailed training on performing and interpreting FBCs, understanding normal and pathological results, and troubleshooting common issues in blood analysis. 

Chemical Analytes Measurement: Hands-on experience with techniques for measuring chemical analytes, including glucose, cholesterol, and electrolytes, using various laboratory instruments and methods. 

Immunoassays: Instruction on the principles and practice of immunoassays, including immunofluorescence, and chemiluminescence assays, with an emphasis on accuracy and reliability. 

Laboratory Techniques and Safety: Training on standard laboratory practices, including specimen handling, reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols. 

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Skills development in analysing and interpreting laboratory results, ensuring accurate and clinically relevant data reporting. 

Troubleshooting and Quality Control: Strategies for identifying and resolving common laboratory issues, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring consistent and high-quality laboratory results.
